| As a social worker of 18 years I can't tell you how beautiful it is to have a song that recognises the love and care that social workers put in to trying to help and support people that society rarely wants to acknowledge. I have been the social worker who has cared for some of my clients with my whole heart and I know many other social workers who have been equally devoted. For the person criticising Geraldine for taking time out of her career you clearly have no idea how depleting a role like this is. Good on her for taking time out. If not....its likely with the level of devotion she shows....she would have burned out sooner or later. Thanks glasvegas.
