to me this song is about still loving someone obsessively even when you really logically shouldnt, all while being very emotionally and mentally on edge and not being able to think clearly. "someones terrorized my psyche to get even" being how the person theyre in love with is constantly doing things that are putting them on edge, and regardless of whether or not its intentionally or not, the narrator thinks it is. "lately youre the only human i believe in" still seeing this person as perfect, subconsciously or consciously. "no sympathetic voices anywhere" no one really understanding the psychological strain the situation has on you, and people thinking its silly or pathetic |
