| too many religious references for that to be the case. i honestly think this was the start of him become more religious and not hating it. im not a fan of his choice but fuck the guy can write a song. i think the first verse is him saying the things god has done to him as vague as he could and the second verse is talking more about the world as a whole. how can he reconcile the things god let happen to him or other innocence. before this song and the 2 he did as conor recently you hear more positive god talk where as before we know he wasn't a fan. it is easy for us to think he can only write about relationships or drugs but it is not the case. our guy has range. | |
