Ricardo Arjona – Quien Diria Lyrics 2 years ago
This song is about a guy who grew up in poverty falling in love with a rich girl
In the line 'Tu caviar y yo tortilla' talks about how she got fancy meals meanwhile he had less fancy meals. In the line 'Yo trovador y tu estudiante
De economía' he talks about how he was working meanwhile she was in school. Its such a cute song that talks about different economic classes falling in love similar to cinderella and price charming

Ricardo Arjona – Penthouse Lyrics 2 years ago
In the video Session de Autor for Penthouse Ricardo Arjona talks about how this song is about a guy who shelters himself from the world by going to his 'penthouse' in the sky. This is his way of sort of dissociating from the rest of the world. He explains the line 'A veces pasas como cometa, Y empiezo a bajar' (Sometimes you pass like a kite, and i start to go down) he says that this is like someone trying to stop him from doing this. I love this song so much :D

Ricardo Arjona – El Invisible Lyrics 2 years ago
In the video Session de Autor for El Invisible Ricardo Arjona explains how in movies there is a trope called the love triangle. This trope is when a girl (or boy) is in-love with two other people. This trope is seen in the twilight saga for an example. Most time the main character is seen as the victim and the love interest they don't choose is seen as the villain. However this song is in the perspective of the "villain", however we seem them as the victim rather than the villain. This song is very interesting in this sense because it shows how cruel the main character can really be. We never really see this point of view in movies.

Ricardo Arjona – Te Acuerdas De Mí (carta 2) Lyrics 2 years ago
to start off i wanna say that i love ricardo arjona and his music.

i think that this song is about a guy whos partner has passed away and he cant move on. he sings the song as if he was catching up with someone from his past. however he says "Y tú no apareces por ninguna parte" (and you dont show anywhere) i think that this means that she is dead. he also mentions a lot of spiritual things like gurus and vudu which couldve been used to try and bring her back.

EDIT:
the line "como luce una soga cuando en medio tiene un nudo" (what does a rope look like when in the middle it has a knot) which i interpret as meaning that she hung herself. it makes the most sense in my opinion and works with my interpretation.

i have no idea if this is true its just something i came up with a while back. also the acustic version is better than the original :D
