@[idiotic:45915] oh don't you just love how Maynard was constantly trolling his fans. He sees the fan base as millions of dumb founded dip shits. So he really enjoyed being there for his fans in a way that mimicked how they were there for him. Maynard tells crowd to fk off and they loved it obviously cheering back positive responses. They never seen him or understood him. Ergo 3 Libra's lyrics you don't see me at all. So he didn't see the fans. He trolled them and reflected everything back onto to them. Kinda like what's holding up is a mirror would actually be like if he was speaking literally. But maYNARD was never literal and elusive to the max. But for me and my minds sake this song is about the egg theory. It's him communicating with God and God communicating with him. Reincarnation to the point of experiencing the entire universe and even it's inhabitants. Considerately killing him almost to the point of infantily. Just to change him into the God he was created to become at the end of the experience/ride. He would never give the fans what he knew he already had because he was always his fans and they always were him. Our being as a whole in unity. Ok so it's easy to say this song is about sex, love or any other superficial human emotion or experience, but I'm going to say something that nobody is talking about but is so obviously woven into the entire song. Lyrically and even visually with the video. I can't believe I'm the first to say this in this thread... So let's get into it. ☺️ I have stumbled upon this by accident and have to say that I think he's never going to admit the songs true meaning for fear of looking crazy. But I'm not scared at all if you all see me as crazy. Cause it's truly a crazy subject all together. When ppl hear the mythological, folklore they tend to brush it off. But look up a guy who goes by the name sauce90 on Facebook or TikTok and your going to start to understand once you begin researching. When ppl don't believe in mermaids or siren creatures they pawn it off to being the sound of a dolphin's cry. So he says can you hear those dolphins cry in a sarcastic sense that also makes it completely esoteric in nature. These beings would literally draw in sailors and men of all kinds that we're far away from land surrounded by the sea. Their voices draw in the male human like magic. The movie the little mermaid portrayed it so well with Ariel drawing the prince to her with her voice. She gave it to Ursula and wasn't able to get his attention at all. The truth is in front of our faces in so many ways it's crazy. These are but a few examples tho. But this song and video is magnificent when you apply this tale of the sirens. Seductively capturing their prey and wrapping their legs around them, holding them underwater til they drown. The fog surrounding him is the fog that's so commonly associated with the experience ppl have had with sirens. All I can do is try and breathe Let me breathe so we can be together. Love will lead us she will lead us. His love for the voice of his newfound siren/mermaid lover becomes a fantastic fantasy too tempting to pass up. Ultimately leading to his own death. Making his soul rise up from the ground like a phoenix. He knows the tale's and he's heard the stories. But he doesn't run for cover cause it's just a waste of time and he knows it. It's said that since the oceanic explosions that happened in 2020 were caused by our military in the United States and awoken the siren's taste for a man from dry land. I know there will be ppl who reject this and call me a crazy conspiracy theorist whilst claiming I'm disconnected from reality. But that's ok. Go try finding a girl to have sex with on the beach and have the dolphins cry for you and your partners short climax that took seconds to reach. After reading all these comments I'm gonna lay out everything and spread some sauce that's awesome, esoteric, folklore and what I believe is the true meaning that Ed keeps secret cause what he says in the interview is so cliche and ppl are willing to grab onto it and miss what's actually going on in his mind with this song...
