Nah, this song is about going further beyond, overcoming, not in a bad and regretful way, more like doing one's damnedest godlike to move to a next level. Just picture it in your mind: "Bones, dead and gone But you, wont let them fall by the way Ghosts, floated on Still you, wont let them vanish away" That's that moment you realize the hopeless situation around you, but you stubbornly resists. "Cemeteries You're digging up your enemies Cemeteries Keep digging up their bones Memories Keep digging up those memories" Dug enemies being passed challenges, bones their details, etc. knowing that resisting alone won't be enough, you backtrack. Backtracking is generally the last step anyone takes before going mad desperate with an issue. Being stuck moving forward gives you no new experience, so you start to try generating new experiences by zooming in into what you already know in the case you missed something, and like a Zeno's paradox, there's always something. "These deaths possess your soul" - you remember you are capable of winning, fueling up your will. "Dig, through the dirt See you, wont let them fall by the way" - you won't leave stones unturned, even if it's dirty work. "Bleed, red alert Still you, wont let them vanish away" - hurt as it may, cost the costs, you can't change your mind. To me it makes much more sense since the videoclip is about technological advancements in computer graphics and the melody is inspiring, not dark. |
