James has a good interview with Marc Maron where he speaks of one time his father came through for him. James was in NYC and probably close to OD'ing. On the phone with his father, his father told him not to move, stay out, he's coming. His father's drove up from North Carolina to save his son. As I recall James saying a father may not be available for everything a father is needed for, but when they show up in a moment such as that then maybe that's enough. |
