The feeling of wanting what you lost, though they made promises you know are false, to keep you at bay, really actually they see they’re different enough to shun you out, you know they’re ego/beliefs simply arent the truth. “The world” is a description for society, at the end of the day we’re all humans. Most likely reference to some who deem themselves better, while looking at others as inferior. |

This song is about the beliefs in which people who you closely trusted would never change, that in the ways you & them came to be, how they accepted you for your flaws, as you did the same, turned around. The feeling of shock that overwhelms you, realizing there actually was way to break something to sacred thus betraying your bond. “I will loose my mind, and make it real this time” isn’t about going crazy, it’s about cutting the person off who went against you, making that idea real, after so many chances you gave them. It finally came to fruition “I’m gonna blow my mind” isn’t about suicide, it’s about stepping out of your comfort zone past the boundaries you have to make sure you get it straight with this person so they do no further wrongdoing “I’m hiding, I’m needy, on the inside I’m bleeding, I’m searching for something but it can’t seem to find me” - this person knows they are pushing the reality away, it hurts so bad to loose the ones they loved so much, but that perfect piece of solidarity within it all just isn’t there for them to gain. “Conforming to confusion, the voice in my head, leading me here back home” - the idea of staying in such a detrimental situation leaving your emotions too vulnerable, open to be hurt. The best place is to go home & get away from it. |
