| I always felt it to be about youths disconnection from their parents and or abuse and the fear of kids to speak up regarding abuse, bullying, sexual assault, etc.. Also see it as parents refusing to really listen to their children and take into consideration what they might be going through or feeling. I see it as a song trying to connect the youth to their parents and asking them to forgive their parents for being ignorant and blind to the pain they might be feeling. I could be wrong though. | |
