| I have been listening to Blue Öyster Cult since I was a newborn baby laying in my cradle and the same thing goes for my departed brother. Our father loved Blue Öyster Cult and we inherited that love for this unique band. My brother died in 2012 at the age of 28 and my father in 2016 at the age of 61and since I was the one who had the heart breaking decision making regarding the planning of their funerals I gave both of them this wonderful song in the original version as one of the three main songs played in the church. I can't help myself from let some tears of both grief but mainly my eternal love for my brother and my father roll down my cheeks. Rest in peace and I hope Heaven holds a copy of "I love the night" for you to listen to and remember just how much you meant for so many people..... | |

@[buddy13789:45803] Wow! This song isn't one of my personal favorites but the lyrics instantly became so much more interesting when I saw your post! I assume this isn't one of your favorites either, please do correct me if I'm wrong, but I must admit the man is exceptionally talented when it comes to promoting a song that in my opinion is quite boring. I have to admit I'm in this trap as well but the most scary part is I walked into it with my eyes wide open (NOT!!!) |
