Feels like an anticapitalism song to me. And more again being that never ending quest for the newest thing to buy. More, more, more. "For you just wish and you are here" imagery of people glued to TVs, watching commercials, imagining themselves with the next best thing. Then the emptiness that you can honestly feel in the song, and that lyric...."but my things are material." Keep watching though..there will be a new, even better things to buy. |
