i think this song is about him feeling almost a tad crazy and trying to blend into these social norms, and feeling depressed as life is so boring and depressing and normal he wants and feels like he should escape this but he cant because of the social ways things are in the mv hes doing normal middle class things like laundry and mowing and describing how hes ordinary and simple just like everyone else but as the song progresses he expresses hes obviously FRUSTRATED and he wants to die (not necessarily suicidal but perhaps) he wants to escape this loop and is tired of the way life is everything in the song is completely disheveled |
