Chops means skill on the guitar or whatever instrument you played. No big hair is the emphasis that you were looking for big hair metal type of players. Since this used to occur in the late 80's it was necessary to clarify that hair metal was NOT what you were looking for. Chops a must was a common phrase too. | |
