A-Ha – Summer Moved On Lyrics 3 years ago
Pal mentioned this song was about the time A-ha split up for the first time in the early 90s and it just sums up unpredictability of human relationships.

A-Ha – Hunting High And Low Lyrics 3 years ago
Finding and loosing love is a common subject in a-ha portfolio, but very few other songs give me shivers like this one. Lyrically is a masterpiece to me.

A-Ha – The Sun Always Shines on TV Lyrics 3 years ago
I think this song is about healing power of love, and longing for it in a mad world.

The guy may had troubled past and he is unease with himself. He is struggling to find way out of his problems, and angrily points to cheesy TV stuff, where everything is easy. As Pal pointed, discrepancy between normal life and TV reality.

So only love and acceptance from her can help him go back on a track. But it seems like they are at the beginning of a relationship and he is unsure yet of her commitment.

This would nicely linked with 'Take on me' story, where he asks her to take chance on him. It is confirmed by the opening scenes of the video. But I am not sure about timing of writing of the two songs, so might be coincidence.

A-Ha – Take On Me Lyrics 3 years ago
It is a very innocent song to me about two unexperienced love hearts trying to even start a relationship.

They both shy, but the song says more about him - he doesn't know how to act, what to say, he feels 'clumsy' in his approach and is a bit all over the place (lack of life skills).
On one hand, he is determined to keep on trying to ask her to take a chance on him, but on the other - he will not be doing that forever (I'll be gone in a day or two).
I love the line 'it's no better to be safe than sorry' - this sums up my life, better try and regret than regret that you never tried... That express he has some confidence in himself and asks her to take a risk.

It is a sweet reminder of our first attempts in love.
