Well, I didn't really remember when the tune slipping through in my ears, but I loved it at once. So, this is the song I fully put my heart & soul to master on a guitar - with "If" . A play that I felt so complete because the way it played is never been easy - but you can do it while singing. Many of the chords are so uncommon, because the key are partial with the bass keeps changing so often. But you know, in order to play it, I must love it first so I can put "my all" to learn it. And... there was a time when I was waiting for someone with the same name. It never happens. It's been awhile, and I haven't played on a guitar so years... Until just now. I feel touched & inspired reading all your comment, folks. Those were the days, yea. It's weird, but I always have this feeling of youth. Just weird but it is what it is. |

This movie brings me a bittersweet memory. I watched this when I was in colleague back in 1998. I intended to ask my a beautiful friend of mine to go together. I wanted her to be mine. And I realized she had the same feeling about me. But I never expressed my feeling to her, so did her. I watch this movie alone instead. I just saw the movie again, 2-3 weeks ago, and I recollected those memories again. After 24 years... I didn't age. And I still feel the same about this movie. So weird. This movie was great, but I just found out that the release was delayed for a year, which made it flop in box office. But this is a classic in 90's for me, alongwith "Shakespeare in Love". One of my favourites ever. And the actress, Gwyneth Paltrow reminds me of her in term of the aura & elegance, and the figure. And gosh... Along with this " Life in Mono", I had kept humming the instrumental song "Kissing In the Rain"- for years without knowing the title. And I finally found it. These great songs & movies will always be part of my memories. Beautiful. And even sadness can be beautiful indeed. While regret is something we can learn from. I bet no movies & songs like these ... To inspire people. To make them feel. Now is all about money, blockbusters, and social media opinions... I'm so geateful I had the chance those wonderful things. And I feel symphatize for today's generation. They have no idea what they're missing. |
