| I've been a mobile DJ, listened to a lot of music - this is the only song that makes me feel so melancholly that I cry, listening to it. I cannot explain this. I do relate it to a special person in my life that I lost, it just 'get's' to me. | |

What this song means to me, is a vivid memory of being in the United States Navy. I was on board the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) and visiting the foreign ports of the Far East was so exotic for me and this song captures the colors of my memories. Dawn came in this morning Like some old junked out melody The words she spoke as we awoke still haunt me From the gin mills of Olongapo to the brothels of Pusan, Korea the beautiful women and crazy foods. This song fully encapsulates the experience! |
