I relate to this so much. I was in a relationship for a little under a year and I was head over heels. He wasn’t rich, he didn’t have a good job, he had a shitty car, I didn’t give one f$@&. I wanted him and I til the end. But he would always question me. Where I was going, who I was hanging out with, that I was cheating on him. And it’s so strange to be so sure about someone and they couldn’t see that. He said so many hurtful things I will never ever forget. He always would apologize, but the more times I tried, the quicker the cycle would repeat itself. I had to leave. And it was the hardest thing I’d ever done. I still love and miss this person, but he will never be able to love me the way I loved him. |
