When I listen to this song I think of the love of my life, and my biggest heartbreak. I take the lyrics and this song as me trying to get her back months after splitting, I message her telling her how I feel but I dont want an answer because I know what she'll say and I know I wont like it, I know it'll just add to the heartbreak I was barely starting to recover from. |

When I listen to this song I think of a girl I loved with all my heart, we broke up but it wasn't bad, we stayed friends but then she posted on her story her doing something pretty intimate with a guy not even a full two weeks after our breakup, she said I was the love of her life said she'll never get over me and love me forever and then she hurt me so much and thats what i think of when i listen to this song. He took her from me, hes the winner and took it all from me |

When I listen to this song I think of a failed love story I had with someone. We tries everything we tried for two years and at the end we said we loved each other so much but we just weren't meant for each other no matter how hard we tried we couldn't make things work and I always cry while listening to this song realizing my mistakes and missing the happy memories i had with her and how she was irreplaceable, I truly did love her with all my heart and I just break down when I start focusing on the lyrics "God knows that we've been trying, But we didn't make it 'cause nothing's the same". We tried so much but in the end it didn't work.
I think this song is of a love story ending in failure while both people still love each other but not being able to work everything out no matter how or what they do it'll never work no matter how hard they try nobodies love is strong enough to fix everything. |
