But what it's actually about is a older buisnessman sleeping with a much younger girl who pretends to be sophisticated by getting involved in talks about whisky cheese. Ultimately she wants to hide what is happening because he is pressurising her to show him what's in the shoebox. |

Close but not quite. I think he's referring to the fact it's easy to get high and pissed when things are going wrong.(starting to choke, take some pills with your coke) But all your doing is robbing from the richness of your mind, and giving to the poorer spirits.
We do this cause we are shit scared sometimes of life (I'm so scared you know)
Our parents will try and be there for us (one thing your mother can't abide) but we always know better (but it's something that I freely prescribe). The high of drink and drugs whilst feeling amazing is just stealing from your own head and spirit (take yourself for a ride, never felt so good, as the night when you and I played robin hood)
I only found out the other day that a lot of OCS songs are about Alcohol. As a recovering alcoholic I find them more soothing than ever. |
