Bedhead – More Than Ever Lyrics 1 year ago
The person singing the song is going through a rough time in life, but is comforted somewhat in the belief that things will eventually get better.

Modernity and artificiality have taken over society, and the singer laments the times when things were more sincere, leaving him feeling 'outdated.'

The singer shares that his life experience has brought about deeper existential questions:

This is the central question of the song: "Are there any good things left to do,...or right ways left to be?"

The singer concludes that his decision in this moment is to limit his words and actions, so that others cannot use his vulnerability against him.

Kevin Morby – Hail Mary Lyrics 3 years ago
A person is recalling his life, he touches on individual friends he had along the way, and the brief summaries of their fates in life. One of these friends is named Lady, and she has changed to the extent that Lady herself, declares that she become an entirely different human than she was when younger, due to religious experience or a stint in the armed sevices.

The song is optimistic in its tone. It seems dedicated to a romantic partner, whom the author pledges to never do wrong, and to die in each other arms in old age.

Perhaps the partner is named Mary, as in the title of the song. Hail mary refers to the football play in which the wide receivers go long on a final, desparate last gasp throw from the QB. The author hopes the relationship will also go long (be successful long term) and they will die in each other arms in old age, just as a hail mary pass occasionally will fall completed into the arms of the person catching the QB's downfield heave
