| I feel like he's singing from the perspective of someone that wants to engage with a girl not up to his status in society and on her own path in life that doesn't line up with his. And he's got his 'arrow' to follow, guiding him in his career/life. He knows he wants to tell her how he feels, but is acknowledging that she 'don't have the line' (her arrow pointed toward him) and 'she don't have the time' (busy on her own path), but 'someone [else] got arrow' (their arrow pointing at her). | |
