| Iron & Wine – Upward Over the Mountain Lyrics | 3 years ago |
| @[katkillad:43906] Beam has said himself he's agnostic. He doesn't believe in the Christian worldview but cannot denounce there is some Creator or Intelligence to the beauty of the world. "The fear of the Lord I was given." Is the confession he has lost his faith. This is devastating to his mother, no doubt, and he is saying sorry for that, but "Sons are like bird, flying always over the mountain." In the valley it's easy to be blinded by all we know. You never have any new experiences in the valley of ignorance, but when you fly over the mountain into the great beyond you open your eyes and why would you ever want to return? | |
