| So to me, this is talking about ruminating about the past through meditation. Dark meditation. Dark meditation to me means he is seeing things through a distorted lens. Seeing things where he is condemning himself or blaming himself or through aggression turned inward. Not seeing himself as a good or worthy person. So because of this he gages his mind behind the wall. Think Pink Floyd. The guitar playing seems like the emotions. Into the rock - to means he is closing his mind or emotions to hide it from himself because it hurts so bad to feel that way. (the loneliness) Through walls of red dreams - to me means through his anger at himself. Then I think the meaning of dark meditation changes in the second part - to me it means that he starts to see the truth of himself being worthy of self love through those same walls of red dreams. It is a slight or subtle difference, but that is when the stream of light begins to flow. Into the meditation to find the cream seems to mean that there is good there and he is choosing to see it for what it is rather than through the distortion of self hatred or aggression turned inward. | |

To me it sounds like he is referring to his relationship with himself or his inner child. 'When you're down that's where you find yourself'. Most growth takes place from introspection. And true introspection for those with a core wound to the inner child can only see themselves when they are down. 'This kind of love is hard to find' seems to me talks about loving yourself. For those coming from emotional neglect, to love yourself is all that can make you feel. 'Then you'll find there's nothing else' When you're lost you need to find yourself' hiding behind the wall. This is beautiful in a thousand ways. |
