@[stayfluffy:43689] i totally agree and i like the way you put it. i think, also, the dismissal of the seed is more significant than a pessimistic throwaway. the seed is infinite potential, everything is ahead of its time and it represents much more than itself, yet to come. but greg is an aging gardener, and he's getting weary of reinventing himself. some time before, he made what was going to be his final attempt, and even now he can see what remains of his work, but it didn't last. life has caught up with him again, and he's accepted that he'll never outlast the storm. greg and brett's composition and lyricism have always impressed me :3 |
