Even though this song isn't about addiction that's what the song title makes me think of lol a twisted pun of a way to name a song. You get it...? This is the the first album I ever listened to from Owen . I was sitting in class and I was on YouTube and one of the few times the algorithm actually recommended something that turned out something I would instantly fall in love with. I hopped on the bandwagon a little late and I originally thought this was Owens first album but I went down the Kinsella rabbit hole and slowly each album became my favorite. It's kind of crazy to me that he isn't more famous and most people know him because of American Football not Owen which is wild to me because although I like American Football the two don't even compare to me but if it wasn't for AF I never would have discovered Owen so it all worked out lol. Mike to me is one of the best artists out there as far as talent and consistency I honestly love every song he writes and the complexity of the songs is truly insane . The time signatures and the originality are next level it's wild to me that he's not more known outside of Chicago. I live on the East coast and I've never met an Owen fan and he doesn't even play shows in my area. I'm just so glad I discovered him Owen is hands down top ten in my opinion and I listene to thousands of artists. Lots of to to all the Kinsella fans out there you guys are awesome. What's your favorite Owen album btw? And do you like his other bands like their/they're/there or capn jazz , American football, I don't really count Owls but them too I guess.
