This song, and by extension, this album, is probably the one thing which accurately describes my emotions i've had for the past year or so. I want to break free, yell, scream, run wild, but I also have my quiet moments, where all I want is to Drive Far Away. If I had to choose a final song to listen to, it would be either Be Quiet and Drive or Mascara. Miss u everyday babe, i'll be back home soon :) |

Apparently the Columbine shooters listened to this album/band alot before the tragedy. It's scary, because the music isn't neccessarily extremely quick-paced or overwhelming in nature. Just good old satanic messaging and hard hitting drums, which was apparently enough to (possibly) fuel the motives behind the shooters. While the incident was horrible, I think blaming any part of the music industry is meaningless - people derive their own meanings from music, and the artist is not to blame. |
