In mainstream music you rarely hear someone straight out saying that they dont beleive in god Thats why after my bud bought this album i was like "hey, this is pretty good" and not just this but the rest of the songs. So though Im not a big fan of indie stuff and I havent heard other indie albums this one is a good one i confused myself...the point is this is good |

Well, if you REALLY want to know, seeing as how everyone is trying to figure me out for some reason, it sort of is self pity. By the way, I'm not a big "fan" I just think a lot of his lyrics are really good |

And try to just keep moving on With my broken heart and my absent god And I have no faith but it's all I want To be loved, and believe In my soul, in my soul This and the other two I copied are just simply EMOTIONAL!!! They are masterpieces. My favorite song. Conor is a genius. |

"Thank you, please, But your flattery, It's truly not becoming me, Your eyes are poor, you're blind you see, No beauty could have come from me And still to me, I'm sick, lonely No laurel tree, just green envy Will my number come up eventually Like love's some kind of lottery Where you scratch and see what's underneath It's sorry, just one cherry I'll play again, get lucky |

| Its an amazing uplifting song. Its like an assurance that everything will be alright, specially in the second to last verse. This song, like many other written by that great artist CONOR OBERST, makes me weep. | |
