hey everyone. this is dustin, and i came upon this site cause i was trying to look at my lyrics for a shirt design. but i was really glad to see so much discussion about the songs, and it's amazing how many points of view there are. so thanks for caring about the lyrics, cause i put way too much time into them. and also, all this bickering about the religious stuff is boring. let people see what they want. i've found that ninety percent of what you get from any song, is what you put it, so it's obvious that we won't all see eye to eye. those who want to find God in the lyrics willl, and those who don't wont, regardless of my intentions. rock n roll.

kids. this isn't that difficult. there is no hidden meaning. it starts off talking about someone he knows who is industrious, how he wishes he could be like them (inferring that he is not industrious or "lazy") and then goes on to confirm that "laziness cuts [him]."
