So I understand this song as in your love partner is hurting you and being possessive over you and saying it's for your own good. Since surgery is a good cause usually to help a patient but why a knife so big? So the person reminds them everyday that they belong to them because u usually carve your name on your property. Tho this is stressing him out and feels the same as yesterday and the day before and so on. He suggest cutting wrists, they laugh as they cut but the main character feels no pain because they probably are numb to it and he wants no help. Thooooo when I first heard this song it reminded me of people suffering from mania. The whole song reminds me of a person who woke up in a manic. The sudden feeling to do everything now and go for everything that you want in a moment and later when that mania passes you are fucked. Song speaks about how schools have a bad way of teaching and affecting kids to actually do good and love. They have a way of teaching that is okay for some people but some have difficult learning the standard way and he is judged for not being the same as everybody else.
He feel trapped and is labeled a special case for being different. He doesn't do well, he tries but he can't learn because the system is bullshit, gets in trouble for stupid things. Other kids are cruel to him all in all he feels like he is in a cage. |

Soo the song speaks of tragedies and poor people who die for real as in their whole existence died no one is there to leave flowers since everybody forgot them. He is speaking about damning your hand because it made a fist and caused more trouble, as in caused more violence or hands shaking witch is making selfish deals that damages people who will suffer from those decisions. All considered song expresses sympathy for poor people who go unremembered, who suffered people fighting for their life ???? |
