| What I think this song is about is that the narrator is a guy in so much pain and suffering that even the love he feels is not a strong enough reason to stay. Lots of the lyrics sound like he overthinks a lot and has too make a big decision. He tries to make them feel better by saying its for the better. He expresses how he feels about them which makes me believe that this is could be betrayed as either a breakup song or a suicide song. I like to think of it as a suicide song whatever floats your boat I guess | |
