Sorry had to copy and paste this because no one actually understands at all what Layne is referring to in this song. He is saying he knows the drugs he wants to take and he doesn't need to be fucking prescribed drugs by a doctor who apparently has his interests at heart. The lyrics are clearly written by Layne. Jerry is a fucking arsehole The song is talking about his mother's drug addiction. Basically when she goes to the doctor she will beg and cry and do anything to get any drug she wants because she is not enjoying her current 'high'. Do I have to go any further or have you morons been enlightened. His mother is such a cunt that he blamed the death of her son on that fella that saw him last who incidentally committed suicide. Basically she cares only about her self and is desperately trying to cover up the true reason behind her son's death You are all fools Fuck you all, Jeff |

You are obviously not that clever but this song is actually incredibly cryptic and not simple to understand. My advice to you is that you sort yourself out and never relapse again mate. Hi guys, Literally had to create an account to tell the true meaning of the lyrics of this song. It is nothing to do with rehab that's for sure. It's to do with the fact that he didn't get along with any members of his close family ie.his mother, father and sister. They are asking home to come home but he doesn't want to be abused, especially by his mother and father. Basically the time he was thinking about was a time when he was clean and hopeful about life. He was agreed to go home and see his family and he knows how he will be abused because the stigma attached with being an ex user. He has made mistakes in the past and he does not want to be reminded. Once again, in lamens terms for people who really don't get it. He doesn't want to be abused by his shitty little family who are 'trying to keep with the James's and only want to artificially look like they care about him. They only care about how they feel and there own reputation. The advice from Layne's friends is light hearted and they tell him that he has to go. Take it with a pinch of salt, laugh it off and certainly do not take any offense because we love you and we are your family. Whenever I have heard his mother talking, she sounds like an absolute little shitter who only cares about using her son's death as a way of getting herself in the public eye and talking about herself. My guess is that she's been on a pretty hefty dose of anti depressants her whole life and is completely dependant on them. Anyway sorry that you guys were completely wrong about this and that I had to rip you a new one so hard. Best regards, Jeff |
