He constantly asks if anyone can get him out of these society prisons (has it always been and will always be this way?). Simple meaning=People that do bad/murder should be murdered same (no excuses for death). I will elaborate more using my own thoughts about "society". Johney never fit into society that controls human to be as society intends all participants to be. Old woman is wiser. She knows society is full control. When society controls all, is society not to be blamed/held responsible for all that happens in society (it should be)? Johney cannot believe, he is astray, confused, etc=he feels he is in a caste system...he has 0 voice. 0 control of even his own self. Society controls all of him. Go away=behave like society made you to behave or go away/out of society. The judge part=corruption at "justice" level to let the worst members of society get away with anything bad. Johney is a tiny nothing. The song is about excusing the creators of society that made little people like Johney do bad. They are like robots=cannot feel anything at all...they even enjoy/think it is fun+games seeing people brainwashed by the society they made for little Johneys to abuse and kill each other every second. I hope you fry is directed at these robots. Elfman hopes anyone/anything in society involved in abuse/death/etc fry (die). |
