i used to think this song was sociopathic - advocating drinking and driving, and "if her daddy's rich take her out for a meal" "if her daddy's poor just do what you feel" seemed to imply you screw her and dump her.if she's poor and you butter her up if she's rich. However, take a turn or return the $25 implies the rich dad gave them $25 for the night, presumably for the meal. What "take a turn" means is unclear, it;s probably that generation's argot. |
