( this is my view) the song is sexist from start to finish, the lyrics objectify women. This song brings back traumas from the past for me, the scars of which I still have today, I am having long term counselling for what happend to me back then, I hate this song and always will. |

( this is my view) the song is sexist for a start, it also objectifies women and is best described through this scripture: For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The Beach Boys are a great band, but its time songs like these were omitted from their setlist ( the same should be done with Kokomo, Calif Girls, and Be True to your School) they are not acceptable for the 21st century. |
