@[matthewsheffield:45047] - Karl Hyde is from Worcester. "Mom" is the standard way to refer to one's mother in the West Midlands, so I think the lyrics are accurate. The jury's out on the first instance ("Look at me your* mom"), but it's clear and obvious in the second instance ("Hi mom are you having fun"). * I don't think the "your" in the first instance should be there, but that's a different issue. |
