Ok…I could be wrong…it could be about drugs or other suggestions which are totally valid…but we almost all know that person we met when we were the best version of ourselves, when we were young, on holiday etc..that pure romance, that didn’t have to last forever when we were in it…that we then still seek in ‘normal’ life. Where does it hide? Then we repeat patterns just to seek out that high of those bubbles of time. The high of being with and learning from someone who is different from our selves. Isn’t that euphoric love always a bubble of time? Not saying I’m right - but that’s what I take from it - and remember the times I was high as a kite on a beanbag, with people that I felt like my most authentic version of, listening to this album. Years have passed, grown up shit is a necessary - but still crave the vibe. |
