@[RedArmy:42525] I agree...in my estimation... the lyricist wrote this because he was fed up with how life and society is turning out! How we've been lied to and hoodwinked into believing that everything is ok or going to be ok, so long as we comply and become comfortably numb. "Looking to the sky to save me", is a biblical term... which is found in Luke chapter 21 and verse 28 which states... "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”.. God is not afraid of who or how you worship him, because If you're truly seeking Him, He will find you! I wish you all well, especially the families of the Foo Fighters and all who follow you.. love to you all |
