| For me personally, this song really means alot to me because I recognize myself in the lyrics and I think that other's recognize themselves as well. While some people say that it's about her being in a relationship with a considered "angel" boyfriend, I didn't pick it up like that at all. From my perspective she talks about how some people have hate towards themselves and compare themselves to other people who are considered angel or angelic. "When everyone that holds my hand get's cut from all the thorns." This lyrics specially also proves to me that the song can be about not letting people in and putting their rough side out so that people doesn't wanrt to be with you. | |
