Simonize: well for me, become like Simon Peter an apostle of Christ crucified for his faith. Whether Pete (????) Yorn intended to preach the gospel or not this is what happened for me on hearing this song. You may find yourself on the edge of life considering suicide and a total stranger may come to you and tell you just what you need to hear, right when you need to hear it. Like now? That was perhaps an angel, leading you to God, to joy! And you’d never thought you’d meet Him. As they Lead you to the more narrow roads of life, unobvious. Tho it feels like wretched disaster, foreign and different. It is death to your depressed and false self. A genuine surrender to a higher power. Tho a clever cloak, serial killers are boring and predictable now and I love murder mysteries. God, synonymous with love is anything but boring and predictable. Thats my take. |
