Counting Crows – Recovering The Satellites Lyrics 3 years ago
I have looked into Adam's history quite a bit but am no expert but after the first album had a lot of LSD trips that lasted days he said in an interview. He later took lithium he called emotional heroin (flatlining emotions)or similar which is not lightly prescribed but only these days for bipolar disorder. I am reading between the lines in saying there may have been a problem which was exacerbated by excessive LSD or the problem was because of , and possible schizophrenia . The medication that was prescribed correlates with a lack of the same imagination and musical flair that the first album had with subsequent ones due to a stabilisation of mood due to meds . As time went on , and I do love the band the creativity of Adam diminished .

recovering the satelittes is coming down from the high of a manic phase of bipolar .

Let me know what you think. I do have some background in this via my job but that is just my interpretation by lyrics and interviews with Adam . I would love maybe you to consider this as a possibility , cheers
