| ok you guys may have heard how much this song means to everyone, but heres one more story. this song means a lot to me because my father left me and my brother when i was 2. He decided that he didnt love my mother and that he was more atracted to men, and he came out and is now gay. My entire life i have never held that fact that he is gay against him. But what i do hold against him is his morals. He has called once a year tops and doesnt even pay child support. and one of teh hardest things i have ever had to do in my life was deal with the fact that my father doesnt love me. and now finally at the age of 15, i relize that i dont need him and my mother has held my life together. And the way i look at it now is that its his loss. he will never actually get to kno 2 great people who he took part in giving them life. we will go on with our lifes and become succsfull with all credit to my mother. And one day when my father is out there and he needs something, he will come to us, and at that point he will realize that not loving his 2 children and not caring for them was the biggest mistake of his life. sorry i just needed to get that out and that is why i can realte to this song so much. | |

| ok ive been listing to nfg since god knows how long, and yes i agree "nothing gold can stay" is there best album. but i didnt mind their transition to more pop music. its still catchy, and i still enjoy it, but this new record is making mea tad nervous. because they kind of lost there edge, but most bands 3rd cds arenta hit. im upset that this is gunna be the album that nfg goes ig with cuz they have alot better stuff out their. im also nervous about this whole dvdthey have comingout...its just gunna be another money maker, and im not in the mood for my good ol boys to sell out | |

| k im with asilbaby on disliking avril. she trys to hard to be punk and well its just not working for her. but i cant deny her everything, cuz honestly this is a decent song. the thing that really bothers me though is som of her fans. a lot of the proclaim thereselfs as people who listin to punk an dthey hate pop music but they love avril. well i dont think its write that they only like her because of what she lookslike, if mandy moore came out with this song evertyone would think it was crap cuz they dont like "pop" music. but since avril does it they dont consider it pop because she through ona tie and sum skate shoes. c'mon guess get real, its all pop. | |
