The first time i actually herd this song and started cring, was when i was watching last seasons Boston Public, They had an actor in the show sing it. And it was just so pretty. I honestly like the actors voice better than all the others. |

I think that this song talks about a girl in love with a guy that died. It tells how she will always remember him, maybe even as an angel. It also talks about how he helped her through hard times in her life, and helped her get past it. I really think this song relates exactly to the movie. I love it, and like all the other girls in here..it makes me get teary eyed also. |

I get the whole thing about abuse..i totaly understand how that could be the case for the girl. But if it was about child abuse, how do u explain that the boy in the first verse went from having black hair to white? I dont think that child abuse fits into that at all. This song is pretty hard to figure out. And i was thinking, for the last verse, maybe it could mean that the family is very religious, and that when they go to their church, the spasems that they have could be "the devil" is being relieved from their body. That they are washing away thier sins at church? I'm not exactly sure how that would fit into the song, but maybe the song is writen to not make sense? Thet there isnt any real meaning to it at all? Anyway, i like the song cus its weird. |

Its very sad when u see a great song like this just sitting here without comments. Crash Test Dummies is the best band i have seen in a long time. Most people judge them too fast because of the deepness of the lead singers voice. I honestly will never tire of hearing this song. His voice is just great to me. People need to appreciate good music more! |

Wow...there seems to be a lot of different comments about this song. I dont know about u folks, but i just like the song because its pretty. I mean, do we really have to know the meaning of it? Of course that what this web sites about, but i just personaly think that the song was made, not by a actual event, but by the mood of the momant. An artists way to escape into he thoughts. |
