i had always thought this song was about suicide bombers and things like that, with the band being arab and all that going on all the time. the part about "when angels deserve to die" and "self righteous suicide" always struck me as a reference about suicide bombers. then the part about "father why have you forsaken me" etc makes me think of how those people think they're working in gods name but they lose the war they're waging a lot of the time. i dont know, that was always my opinion... |
