It's simple, the song is about a breakup. Relationships begin and end. People drift together and drift apart. He, or she, is the victim. He, or she, is the aggressor. Who's to say either person is to blame. Both feel justified and both feel used and cheated. As Life's lessons are learned, one begins to understand that there are two sides to every story, nothing is black and white. I feel equal sadness for both people in this song. Breakups are a terrible, heartbreaking experience which ever way you look at it. |
