This song is special, it is what I needed and now it’s on my list of favorites. The first time I heard this song was on Monday, April 18, 2022. I was driving and had tears streaming down my face because my big brother was gone. Before Covid, he was planning to come to Michigan to take me to see Weezer, Fallout Boy, and Greenday, which was the Hella Mega tour. On November 4, 2021, my big brother lost his 3 months-long battle with covid. My brother was my hero, best friend, and mentor, His death has devastated me, I have lost my entire family, in fact, I am the only one left, and losing all of them has been painful beyond description but his death has affected me in a whole different way. Whenever Weezer comes on the radio, I get emotional and change the station but I didn’t when this song came on I felt like it was from my brother up above letting me know I am strong because many people would have given up but I refused, beating all odds. I have gone a long way from where my life began to now and I am still going. Personally, this song means never give up, we are stronger than what we may think. No matter what we go through, we will keep going. Rember there's a bright side to everything even during life's most difficult challenges! |
