This is song is about the destruction of the ocean ecosystems by the industrial fishing industry. The first lyric on this page is incorrect-- it's not "sacred lives emotion," it's "sacred lives of oceans being washed away like mud." The logic rest of the lyric proceeds from this first line.
I gave up eating fish back in the 1970s because of this, and never returned to it. |
