| I\'m not particularly sure exactly who he\'s referencing in this song. I don\'t delve that deeply into artists life. \n\nBut to me it\'s clear, he\'s talking about an ex-girlfriend. Probably some woman who screwed him over. And he\'s clearly in love with her because you don\'t write songs about people who haven\'t had an influence on you. \n\nI can relate to the song for one simple reason. I was involved in a relationship with the criminal sociopath. She had many many ways to manipulate people. And now that I look back on all of it, understanding who she was and how she duped me, what a mistake. | |
