But, he is gone, so maybe Bruce claimed them for licensing, I don\'t know.\r\n\r\nMy fanzine about Will Shatter (and Flipper) is called Kisses Left Undelivered. I\'m working on a revised version of it, adding stuff, and pruning stuff down. |

This song is a great example of when an artist takes another artist\'s song and transmutes it into their own thing that is just as good if not better than the original. The Dead Kennedy\'s succeeded where others fail. \n\nSide note: Shitty covers of songs are one of my pet peeves. Having to hear Madonna\'s cover of American Pie (at work) several times a week made me cringe so hard. |

It speaks to the ignorant attitudes around the AIDS epidemic -- that because it was sexually and blood transmitted, the people getting it the most -- gay, people of color, and also women, did not matter. \r\n\r\nLook up Ryan White, who was a little boy who caught AIDS from a blood transfusion. His story was sad, but out of his suffering came the Ryan White Act |
