That would certainly be a surprise to most historians who agree an influential man known as "Jesus of Nazareth" did indeed exist and was ultimately crucified under orders from a Roman provincial governor (Pontius Pilate) at the request of the Sanhedrin. \r\n\r\nWas he the "Christ" (meaning "anointed one") of Messianic prophesy? Christians think so. Jews think he was a great leader/teacher. Muslims think he was "Isa," a great prophet. But all at least agree he existed. \r\n\r\nSo I\'d love to know what sources YOU are using to say he was "fictional." | |
