| Lord Huron – Way Out There Lyrics | 3 years ago |
| I think this song is a celebration of being brave when it comes time to face your death. It’s about the acceptance of the unknown by using curiosity and optimism for a new experience. \n\nMy favorite line is \n“I belong bodily to the earth, I’m just wearing old bones from those that came first.” I think that’s an awesome way to explain the relative insignificance of our existence while also conveying the wonderfully rare and unique natural phenomenon of human life. The atoms that make up by body physically belonged to life before me. I’m just recycled stardust. To me, it gives courage to someone fearful of dying by making something so personal seem like a shared experience. And that makes me feel optimistic about a scary thought. | |
